Magical Kennebunkport, Maine

The name really is magical, isn’t it? Even if you’ve never been there, you’ve probably heard how lovely the area is, made famous by former President Bush’s summer home there at Walker’s Point. In addition to downtown, you also must visit the galleries and shops in the Lower Village and on Dock Square. Gorgeous. You can have a wonderful time just being there, and not even spend a dime.

It’s easy to get around Kennebunkport, as you can ride bikes, walk, drive or take a trolley. You’ll want to see Cape Porpoise. It’s the quintessential Maine fishing village and offers a sensational view of the Goat Island Lighthouse.
