Be the family hero: check out Pennsylvania’s Shenango Valley RV Park

Be the family hero: check out Pennsylvania’s Shenango Valley RV Park. We’re talking kids, pets and big rig friendly.

You can spend the summer or stay one night (if your kids let you get away with just one night). Either way, you’ll find there’s something fresh and unique about Shenango Valley’s RV Park, with their family focus as well as terrific local history and activities.

You’ll be kind of shocked at the RV park’s Camp Store; it almost defies description. This Camp Store not only carries snacks and groceries, but you’ll see Legos, Barbies, Matchbox Cars (kid paradise?), a line of apparel and you’ll find truly lovely pieces of fine art and jewelry. Oh yes, and you’re needing to restock some RV “gotta have’s?” They have a well- stocked RV section in their Camp Store. The store is cool!

Pet-loving Shenango Valley RV Park’s level (yay!) campsites are at least 40' wide and 75'+ in length. The sites are pretty; they’re landscaped, and you can choose from among their wooded or more open sites. If you have a big rig, they have 80' to 100' pull-thru sites. These big guys come with concrete patios and extra lovely landscaping –these sites can handle your big rig up to 45' and your tow vehicles.

Ok, let’s say you actually want to leave the RV park for the day, even with its pool, fishing, professional putting green, sports courts, etc. You’re within easy, easy driving range of Jamestown’s Animal Park, Waldameer Water World, and Mercer County’s golf courses. Golf Digest named Mercer county one of the “Top Ten Best Golf Towns in the USA”. That’s saying something. This area of Pennsylvania also has lots of wineries, cheese houses, the Canal Museum and more Lake Erie history, as well as Shenango Lake itself, with all the action you could hope for.

Eventually, you’ll head back to the RV park. Tired? They’ll deliver firewood, pizza and wings to your site! Who knows….they may even build your fire if you ask nicely enough!
